Ask Alleato is a multi-agent AI system embedded directly in the platform. It is not a generic chatbot — it has live access to your projects, financials, schedules, meetings, emails, and accounting system. Every answer is grounded in real data from your work.

How It Works

Every question first reaches the Chief Strategist — an orchestrator that reads your question, decides which specialist to consult, and synthesizes a unified answer. For cross-functional questions (e.g., “why is this project struggling?”) the Strategist consults multiple advisors simultaneously and connects their findings.

The C-Suite Advisors

Each advisor has its own domain, live data access, and perspective.

CFO — Chief Financial Officer

Owns all financial analysis. Analyzes through five lenses: margin protection, cash position, exposure, change order lifecycle, and billing and collections. What to ask:
  • “What’s the current forecast and margin on Vermillion Rise?”
  • “Which projects are losing margin and why?”
  • “How much do we owe Apex Electric across all projects?”
  • “What does our cash position look like in the next 60 days?”
  • “Show me AP aging from Acumatica.”
Data sources: Budgets, change orders, commitments, direct costs, invoices, prime contracts, Acumatica ERP (live AP/AR aging, cash position, vendor spend).

COO — Chief Operations Officer

Owns field operations, scheduling, and productivity. What to ask:
  • “Which schedule tasks are running late on Project Aurora?”
  • “Summarize field activity from this week’s daily logs.”
  • “Show me all open punch items assigned to the electrical sub.”
  • “Who is assigned to what across all active projects?”
Data sources: Schedule tasks, daily logs, punch lists, people and roles.

CRO — Chief Risk Officer

Owns risk identification and exposure tracking. What to ask:
  • “What are the top risks across all my projects right now?”
  • “Which RFIs are overdue?”
  • “Any submittals flagged as critical?”
  • “Show me projects with budget variance over 10%.”
Data sources: AI insights, RFI status, submittal status, budget variance, schedule slippage.

CHRO — Chief Human Resources Officer

Owns team, staffing, and capacity. What to ask:
  • “Who is over-allocated next month?”
  • “Show me the team directory for the Vermillion Rise project.”
  • “Which roles are unfilled on our active projects?”
Data sources: Project directory, people records, roles and assignments.

VP Business Development

Owns pipeline, prospects, and market intelligence. Uniquely, this advisor can search the web in real time for competitive intelligence, industry trends, and company research. What to ask:
  • “Summarize our win rate on ground-up industrial projects.”
  • “Research the local market for tilt-up warehouse construction costs.”
  • “What’s the latest news about Apex Electric?”
Data sources: Company knowledge base, prospect records, live web search.

Cross-Project and Portfolio Questions

The Strategist handles questions that span multiple projects. You do not need to select a project before asking.
  • “Catch me up on everything happening this week.”
  • “Which projects need my attention today?”
  • “Is there a pattern of procurement delays across our jobs?”
