The Specifications tool organizes the project’s specification sections, typically in CSI MasterFormat divisions. Each section can be downloaded, subscribed to for revision notifications, and archived when superseded.

Open Specifications

  1. Select the project.
  2. Open Specifications from the sidebar.
  3. Sections list with division, section number, title, and current revision.

Browse Sections

  • Filter by Division (01 General Requirements, 03 Concrete, 23 HVAC, etc.).
  • Search by section number or keyword.
  • Sort by upload date, division, or revision date.

Download a Section

  1. Open the section.
  2. Select Download to save the current revision as PDF.

Subscribe to a Section

Subscribing notifies you when a new revision is uploaded.
  1. Open the section.
  2. Select Subscribe.
  3. Notifications appear in your inbox and on the project home page.

Revisions

When a section is replaced:
  • The previous revision moves to Archived.
  • The new revision becomes current.
  • All subscribers receive a notification.

Archive

Archived sections remain accessible in the Archive view. Use this when the project moves through addenda, bulletins, or owner-issued revisions.
