In the RFI email, open the secure response link. It takes you to a public response page for that specific RFI.Expected result: The page opens showing the project name, RFI #, the Subject, and — if set — Response requested by the due date.
Review the Question section, and read any earlier answers shown under Responses.Expected result: You understand what information is being requested and what has already been answered.
In Your response, type your answer to this RFI. The page shows you are Submitting as your name and confirms you are responding as your email, with no login required.Expected result: Your answer is entered in the response box.
Select Submit response. If the box is empty you are prompted to enter a response before submitting.Expected result: A confirmation reads Response submitted — thanking you and noting the project team has been notified — and you can close the page.
If the RFI is already closed, the page states it is no longer accepting responses. If the link has expired or been replaced, the page says the response link is no longer valid — check for a newer RFI email or contact the project team for an updated link.Expected result: You know whether the RFI can still be answered, and how to get a working link if not.
